Acide phosphorique 85 de qualité technique

L'acide phosphorique est un acide faible de formule chimique H 3PO 4. L'acide orthophosphorique fait référence à l'acide phosphorique, qui est le nom IUPAC de ce composé. Le préfixe ortho- est utilisé pour distinguer l'acide des acides phosphoriques apparentés, appelés acides polyphosphoriques. L'acide orthophosphorique est un acide non toxique qui, lorsqu'il est pur, est un solide à température et pression ambiantes.

La source la plus courante d'acide phosphorique est une solution aqueuse à 85%; ces solutions sont incolores, inodores et non volatiles. La solution à 85% est un liquide sirupeux, mais toujours versable. Bien que l'acide phosphorique ne réponde pas à la définition stricte d'un acide fort, la solution à 85% peut néanmoins irriter gravement la peau et endommager les yeux.
